That story in the NYTimes about the cost of insulin.

Depressing read in the NYTimes today about the cost of insulin. This story hits pretty close to home for me because I lost my mother to that illness and all the complications that go along with it towards the end, and to hear how despite all the advances in Diabetes management, it costs more than ever to manage.

…Not to mention the loved ones currently struggling with the illness and the bureaucracy on top of it. I don’t comment on that stuff when people share their stories because, again, it’s too close to home.

Single payer healthcare now.

I really don’t have anything else to add.
